Amigos in Visalia

Great food here. Their take-out is super fast, but they also deliver. We love to get the platters when we entertain. The ultimate platter is our go-to when we have unexpected guests or the whole basketball team ends up at our house. Lots of variety-and it's all amazing food.

1st time visitor! Buffet style ordering, felt rushed but serving size was great and food was delicious. Would return for sure. I just recommend knowing what you want BEFORE you get in line lol

This place is clean and the food is good plus the sport bar is nice . All in all a good place to get some decent Mexican food

If you want consistency as for your service & good food, Amigos is definitely one to be on your list. they may not be the best tasting Mexican food restaurant but they are high on the list. they have good prices for combo meals & are fast serving. One thing they do have that is best in all of Visalia is their Pico De Gallo, totally awesome & very reasonably priced. If you have a large party in tow & want a good sports bar this is the place. My only complaint is I wish they had a 2nd restaurant on the No. East side of Visalia because they would tear it up if they did

We walked in and were told by a costumer that we just sit where we want. We were never greeted by a host of anyone to take our order so we just had to walk out and leave. Customers were also very rough and just stared.

I ordered Chili Relleno and there was far more breading than chili which is not how I like it. The chips and guacamole was good though.

This place is counter service but has a bar on the other side of the restaurant. It gets 5 stars for the Richard Burrito which is for me the very best thing on the menu. The chips are just ok and the ambiance is lacking but we don't go there for the experience. We go for the Richard!

Ordered near 100 bucks worth of food on delivery , impressed by speed of service . Driver was very polite and helpful . Food was amazing . My only hang ups on this were the trays of sour cream and guacamole were flimsy and dumped when I opened the boxes , and i was told no deliveries between 1:30 - 5:30 unless its catering ( I work , and like to be able to eat before hand and was a little disappointed I had to order before 1:30 pm my dinner .) Other than that it was amazing .

Get the Richard burrito with Chile verde for a solid meal you can’t go wrong. Good flavor and not much spice so add some fresh salsa. This place is split between a bar on the right or a dinner style restaurant on the left good for families and kids.

Food is delicious...they have a variety of options...they have great happy hour deals...the house margarita is on point...they play all the sports channels you could want...this is a great place to gather with friends and/or family..always a good time...check it out, you wont be disappointed...and on weekends they have the best menudo around and sell out fast...

I enjoy their taco salad with chicken. My husband usually orders his burrito with beans, cheese, rice and chili verse as he LOVES their chili verse a lot!

Brought a party of 18 for dinner. My family's order consisted of 5 meals. You order at the counter, then pick up your order at the cashier. 13 people behind me so I hurried through. Got to our table and the math didn't compute. Over charged $16.00. When I questioned the over charge, I was told we had ordered things in the meals off the menu that were extra, but they wouldn't specify what. Rip off. You order off a menu on the wall and it shows the prices. Not hard to figure out. Be careful, and the food is only average. Ripped off.

My first time there, ordered the burrito w/prawns. Was shocked on how large it was and great taste.

It was clean inside. Everything seemed nice. Until we got our food. The shredded beef is boiled meat absolutely no flavor. Over loaded with cabbage. The tortilla was good. I also got the carne Asada nachos which were microwaved to be heated. Also the meat was minced so basically it was non existent, but they were generous with their beans. Which are flavorless brown paste. If you are looking for traditional Mexican this isn’t even close. If you like very bland and no spice this is the place. And it’s very pricey for a short order style Mexican place. I must say staff were fast and cleaned all tables quickly. But other than that never going back.

Don’t rely on there pricing there online menu is almost 25% less than there actual prices when you call to place a order. I have ordered from them for years but no longer. Better Business Will be called since they won’t honor there posted prices.😢😫😩

You guys need to update the prices here. Menu says 9 something for a seafood burrito. Ordered one and it was 14.38. pretty big difference.

Popular friendly place. They serve walkup style so you get your food right now and it's good food! My favorite is their Half Richard Chile verde burrito - yum! Sports bar side is great too.

The older gentlemen that was the cook, threw off the whole atmosphere. Its not okay to keep a waiting customer then come off with “what do you want?”, he then continued to talk to his coworker in Spanish about how he doesn’t care...suuuuper cool. then the cashier almost charged me 25 for a burrito and kids burrito??? Amigos was much better in my memory, and more polite too

I have been going here for years and have always received great service! The line goes by pretty quick even during the rush hour. Their food is amazing and isn’t expensive. One side of the restaurant is a bar, the other half a regular dining place so that’s nice.
